Headaches
Report
What is a headache? To simplify, a headache is pain in the head or face, and sometimes also includes pain in the upper to mid neck. The pain sensitive structures in the head and face include the skin, bone and structures in the eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Also, the large blood vessels of the head are incredibly sensitive and these are the principal structures causing pain in vascular headaches, such as migraines.
Neck Pain
Report
Neck Pain is a common complaint I see regularly. There are many different causes behind neck pain, although they all present themselves similarly. Pain can be felt anywhere between the base of the skull, down to the top of the shoulders. What causes these symptoms? The causes above can be treated and symptoms can be alleviated to different degrees depending on different patient factors.
Shoulder Pain
Report
Shoulder pain can present itself in varying degrees of pain and varying degrees of restricted movement. Pain can be mild to severe with or without reduced range of movement, or in some case no movement at all. Symptoms can be felt at the Front, Side, Top or Back of the Shoulder.
Most shoulder presentations I see typically fall under the Musculoskeletal differentials, however in some cases shoulder pain can be an indication of underlying visceral pathology. If you are experiencing any symptoms above, please seek medical attention immediately. Shoulders can be stubborn in recovery as it is a incredible complex, mobile joint and an area we use many times each day.

Thoracic Pain Upper & Mid Back
Report
Thoracic Pain (Mid back pain) is a complicated area to focus on as it covers such a broad spectrum of possibilities. Not only is there lots of over laying muscles, but this area, along with the rib cage houses our bodies vital organs and therefore, pain should not be over looked without proper investigation.
