CNC Punching
Our CNC punching service utilises a Trumpf Trumatic TC500R press to create precise shapes in sheet metal up to 8mm thick. With extensive tooling options, we handle complex designs for components like panels and brackets. The process ensures high accuracy and efficiency for both small and large batch production.
Powder Coating
We apply durable, heat-resistant powder coatings using a Nordson system with a 4000mm oven. Suitable for items like bike parts and furniture, this eco-friendly finish resists chipping and fading. Available in BS and RAL colour ranges for custom aesthetic solutions.
Welding
Specialising in MIG and TIG welding, we join metals like steel, aluminium, and stainless steel using Fronius equipment. Our expertise includes plasma welding for precision joints in structural and decorative components, ensuring strength and longevity in every fabrication.
CNC Bending
Using Safan CNC press brakes, we bend sheet metal up to 3000mm x 6mm thick. This process creates accurate angles and curves for applications ranging from industrial casings to architectural elements, maintaining tight tolerances for functional and aesthetic requirements.
CNC Cutting
Our Safan HT310-6 guillotine cuts sheet metal into precise blanks for further fabrication. With capacity for 3000mm x 6mm sheets, this service provides clean edges and consistent dimensions, essential for subsequent bending, forming, or assembly processes.

I have used Alford Engineering a number of times and find them to be good at what they do and have a wide range of skills. If they cannot do what you ask, they will suggest another way or another company who can help. Great for aluminium welding and also had some powder coating done which was a good finish. Will be using for years to come.
