The Yoga Social
Yoga is about connection, with yourself, with others. It's about letting go of stuff you don't need and marvelling in what wonderful individuals we all are. I first attended classes with Lisa back in November, my first experience of yoga, I was apprehensive as I struggle with depression. I was made very welcome and Lisa is fab!, so much so I have continued to attend Monday evening classes, so give it a try.

I started The Yoga Social in 2017 with the aim of creating warm friendly yoga classes in my local community. I wanted a space that everyone would feel welcome and focussed on small class sizes in order to offer a more tailored approach to my teaching. During this time its been amazing how we have adapted to classes on-line, keeping that sense of community and connection and continued to grow and share our practise and space together.
Services
Workshops
Report
We offer Workshops on-line and in-studio throughout the year. These create time and space to focus on particular aspects of our yoga practice and allows us to connect, rest and restore in a nurturing and safe enviroment. The current main workshops we offer are 7-Day Kickstarter to Meditation and Restore & Rest.
Private Classes
Report
Private classes are great for individuals that are perhaps recovering from an injury or illness or working to a particular goal. Our current situation also leaves many of us in a high state of anxiety and a 121 practise can be developed to help combat some of these feelings and create a home practise completely tailored to the individual.
Wellbeing Festival
Report
It's been a tough time for many of us so as a little collective of Wellbeing practitioners from the local area, we have collaborated together to bring you a super fun and relaxing afternoon of taster sessions so you can try out something new or just enjoy a smorgasbord of wellbeing delights. We have Yoga (of course) Nia Dance, Pilates, Face Yoga, Unfurl Sound Journey, Meditation and Massage, something for everyone!
Yurt Studio
Report
I wasn't sure how I was going to return to safe in-person classes. But then a grant from The Scottish Government and a loan from my dad made it all possible! Look at our cheesy grins! It's all quite a family affair, the yurt was built and installed by Red Kite Yurts, a family run business near Callander.
