Not a very nice place really. Only stayed cos we were from out of town, and friends booked it. Our room ceiling was leaking. All my clothes and baggage got wet. Told the 'manager', if that's what we can call him, and he supplied us with a bucket. Asked for a reduction on the room, which was paid in advance, only to be told that he wasn't authorised to give reductions, and that he didn't know how to work the card machine anyway! Asked to speak to the owner of the hotel, unable to, as she wasn't in the country. Was told to call the hotel when owner was back in the country to discuss a reduction.

Stayed over at the Green Park Hotel Liverpool while taking friends out and about in Liverpool to see Mathew Street in the day and then to head over to the Albert Dock. The Hotel is ideally situated and was within a ten minute drive to the Docks. Later in the evening we walked from the Hotel to the Penny Lane area and chilled in the famous Penny Lane Wine bar for a few drinks before popping over the road for a mexican tavern meal.
