Our babies benefit from the large, bright, open plan day room, which is well equipped with sensory equipment to test their senses and encourage development. As babies spend a lot of time sleeping at this early age, we provide a dedicated sleep room. We constantly monitor the temperature to ensure the babies are comfortable, and we monitor the children at all times.
Staff

The vast majority of our nursery staff are either NNEB (National Nursery Examination Board) or equivalent, or participating in the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Early Years and Childcare. We have a very high qualified staff ratio which far exceeds that of OFSTED requirements. All of nursery our staff are trained in First Aid.
Nursery Meals

At Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery we strongly believe that healthy, balanced nursery meals are essential for growth and development in the under 5's. We always provide fresh, balanced nursery meals to the children at each meal time with a choice of fresh fruit at snack times. We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
