Mattishall Golf Club, located between Dereham and Norwich provides a 9-hole course that challenges experienced players, but is also a great course for those new to the game. The Par 35 course with a distance of 3,009 yards can also be played as an 18-hole course, Par 70 and 6,170 yards. Our PGA golf professional, Tony Varney is on-hand to provide expert tuition on the course or at our driving range.
The newly refurbished clubhouse, provides changing facilities, along with licensed lounge bar serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. The sun terrace overlooking the course provides an ideal environment to relax after your round. Lovely friendly 9 hole course. If you are playing alone you will always find a partner to play with.

Established in 1991, Mattishall Golf Club is considered to be a relatively new course, however is continuing to mature into an impressive course for both experienced golfers and those new to the sport. The course and clubhouse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, proving new and improved facilities for members and guests alike.
The Course

A tough hole to start with. A long par 4 (par 5 for ladies) requires a well hit drive to set up the chance to hit the green in two. There's out of bounds and a bunker to the right of the fairway as you drive and as you approach the green look out for the greenside bunker left and the green slopes away from you.

Mattishall Golf Club provides a range of membership packages; the five-day membership package is ideal for those looking for a mid-week game, whereas the seven-day membership is perfect for those wanting the flexibility of being able to play anytime. Joint membership packages are also available, as is combined golf and gym membership, with Gymtec Fitness.
Driving Range

Open to members & non-members Mattishall Golf Club is pleased to introduce our latest addition. A six bay covered driving range with an astro turf hitting area which allows you to use your own tees when practising. Open from dusk till dawn this driving range also boasts an outside hitting area which holds an additional four spaces which brings our driving range capacity to 10 golfers.

Our PGA Golf Professional, Tony Varney provides one-to-one coaching to both members and non-members at Mattishall Golf Club. Tony has also established our popular class programme for beginners, ladies and juniors. Tony's tuition is ideal for those wanting to brush-up on their golfing techniques as well as those new to the sport, wanting to start from scratch.
