With wildlife, birds and even a few sea based mammals (seal and bottlenose dolphins) alongside the trout and salmon fishing there is plenty to see and do in and around this rich natural habitat.

The cottage is a great base for exploring the Northern Highlands - we are 1 hour from Inverness, 2 hours from John o'Groats and 1 hour from the rugged hills of the west coast. This means you could actually do the whole of the North Coast 500 (NC500) in bite size chunks. Close at hand, there are walks through woodland, along the shore at Dornoch or over the hills.

The cost includes electricity, gas, bed linen, towels (but not beach towels), duvets and a welcome pack consisting of bread, milk, shortbread, and eggs. The inventory is checked after each let: please let us know if anything is not working so that we can fix it.
