Poplar Farm has great facilities for touring caravans and motor homes in a riverside setting at the edge of the village of Acaster Malbis. As well as tourers we accommodate residential caravans and holiday homes, and have a sales area for new and used holiday homes. Tents and small campervans are welcome on the landscaped camping field, along the banks of a stream that runs to the river nearby.
Electric hookups are available for all our tent and hard standing pitches. Boat moorings for small crafts are available on the river frontage. A river bus service operates in summer months, taking passengers directly to the heart of York. Poplar Farm is a family-run caravan park nestling on the banks of the River Ouse, just 4 miles downstream from the historic city of York. Touring caravans, motor homes, and tents are welcome on the site during our opening months of February to November. We have 50 touring pitches, 25 tent pitches, and 10 hard standing pitches for motor homes, all with electric hook ups.

Poplar Farm is in the village of Acaster Malbis, a pretty riverside village to the south of York. Leave the A64 at the A1036 Askham Bar junction signposted York (West) or York (SW), and follow signs for Bishopthorpe. Take the right hand lane and continue to follow signs for Bishopthorpe, passing York College on your left.
