We are Chris and Hannah. We opened the Cycle Service in Edinburgh in 2014. Our aim is to help keep your bike running smoothly and safely, no matter who you are or what kind of bike you ride. To this end, we have a large range of spare parts in stock to repair everything from the vintage to modern, the swanky to everyday bikes.
We run a booking system and do our best to turn repairs around the same day so you don't have to be without your bike too long. We are at 50 West Richmond Street, just off Nicholson Street. The Cycle Service is between our lovely neighbours The Richmond Cafe and Bonsai Sushi Bar. We are conveniently located for the Pleasance Gym, Bristo Square, The Crags Sports Centre and Skelf Pump Track. There are sheffield racks just outside the shop and the number 14 bus stops a few metres down the road.

We do too many different repair jobs to list them all, but these are the most common. For larger repairs - When you bring your bike in we will look it over with you. We will then discuss what work is essential for safety and what work would be advisable for efficient and enjoyable cycling. We will then give you an estimated cost and time your bike will be ready.
