An old school auction room, selling old washing machines too fine art. Helpful staff with a lot of experience. Not the cheapest place in the world to sell something, but if you want it gone, they will sell it.

STEP AWAY AND BE AWARE , for your good..Never thought I will write such review in England , My experience with this Bulsrodes auction house is very strange and new to me. I used to buy thousands of lots from different houses within the last 15 years, never faced such issue.. As Mr IAN HAWKINS commented in the reviews that there was a missing part of his lot not received . But in my case , only solid antique gold lot within 5 lots purchased was not sent and have tried many ways to contact them and emailed many times explaining the problem but they never replied for a whole month and many inquiries

Rude and unprofessional. I've been going to auctions for many years all over the UK but it was my first encounter with Bulstrodes, and it was a pretty nasty one. I bought two lots from them - a collection of "oil paintings" which turned out to be horrible-quality prints (not even limited edition prints) and a Victorian book-stand without the book-stand. Yes, you heard right, the item that was described as a "Victorian book stand" did not actually come with one. It was legs from what used to a book stand.
