Located in an excellent place in the town, free parking a two minute walk away in the castle car park, the staff were very friendly , and strived to make our visit as pleasant as possible, nothing was too much trouble, and very informative on places to visit. The room was in keeping with the age of the hotel, if you want mod cons then go elsewhere, we felt at home, due to living in a very old cottage. The room was cleaned daily, and we had fresh towels daily. The food served was very large portions, and of an excellent standard. Breakfast was always super quick, and filled us up till tea time!

Congratulations Team Dobbins. Excellent value Sunday Steak & Stay Deal. Room ready early. Great customer service especially the lovely ladies working the bar & restaurant who never missed a beat throughout, (4.30-8.30pmish) please pass our thanks on to them & also the kitchen staff & chef for the best roast beef dinner & the rest ever!! Loved the cosy fires lit on check out & very considerate parting words from the gentleman on reception. Little things
