Lovely hosts, great beds, good breakfast. Excellent service. Could not think of anywhere better for a stop off. (Wetherspoons is 600m away too)

I went with cycling friends on a c2c first night stop last Friday. I was welcomed with tea and hot flap jacks straight out of the oven. The couple who have just taken this over are so warm and friendly - made to feel welcome, recommended

Great central location to travel up north and lake district attractions. Very convenient location with available parking and good size hotel to stay in with lots of privacy.

Lovely guesthouse. Owners were very polite, friendly and warm demeanour. Clean rooms and no complaints about the ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked and made to clean standard
