We're open Tuesday-Sunday 5pm-10pm, closed Mondays. Open all bank holidays including Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We Have visited here twice in the 10 years we've been in Sandbach, the first time a few years after we had moved and we were so disappointed that we never went back however, with a group of friends recently, the Ganges was suggested and we went along with it and I'm more than happy to say the food was gorgeous and the staff lovely and very accommodating with the children! I would definitely go back and will be doing soon as we plan to book and go as a large group again! Would definitely recommend now

The staff are the greatest asset and that's a compliment as their food is tremendously good. They always remember our names and make a great effort to chat and be friends without overdoing it. The food is wonderful and they're happy to adjust spicyness to suit. There are 2 dishes that stand out for me;
1. Lamb Naga and
2. Lamb garlic bhahar
Both options are fantastic, the first if you need some spicy heat and the second to keep vampires away!! The lack of 5 stars is only down to the fact that the prices are starting to rise a bit too quickly.
Nonetheless. Go. It's fab!

The ganges is simply the best indian in the whole of the west midlands. All the curry's in including the simple dishes are fantastic, Specially the chef recommendations. the waiters are always there when you need them there are always polite and friendly. when we went they made my son a fruit drink that was amazing also the waiters helped me choose a dish that suited me they are simply the best .if you ever go there i promise u that u will enjoy it i promise you. :)

Simply stunning the standard curry dishes you expect and more adventurous curry's too on the chefs recommendations. really professional service, friendly, and glad of your business, MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU DON'T FEEL RUSHED once they have your money. would go time and time again. the standard of food would easily compete with the bigger more well known places in the city's. as i am a chef myself i shouldn't think it will be long before they get a big award. they deserve it!

My FAVOURITE curry house, better than Manchester!! It is a bit pricey but the food is great and the quality excellent. They make the best Dall and the staff are really friendly. I don't think I've had a bad experience there. My son got into a chili eating competition with one of the waiters, and they were so sweet in going to get him a glass of milk! The take away is excellent too.

This has to be the best Indian takeaway I've ever bothered picking the phone up to! There curry is outstanding! I'm not form Sandbach originally so when friends from back home visit they all love getting a takeaway from here! The staff who answer the phone are very helpful and polite and it's always delivered quicker than they say it will be. I've never waited more than an hour for a delivery even on a busy weekend evening. I think you can eat in too though I haven't tried this. It is a little pricey but believe me it's worth it!
