She is a qualified Orthodontist. While the name Docklands Dental Referral Centre remains, she rebranded the private practice and management as Align&Smile. As a logo, Sabena chose the tranquil design that uses the symbol of a butterfly, created by two facial profiles, to illustrate the life changing dental transformations provided at her practice.
After she qualified in Dentistry at St Bartholomews and The Royal London Hospital in 1996 she completed a period of vocational training in a General Dental family practice in Bushey. She was then appointed the Senior House Officer position at the Kings college Hospital in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
