Established in 2019 following our relocation from South Wales, we combine our passion for rural living with hospitality expertise. Our properties - three cottages and two log cabins - offer comfortable self-catering accommodation with scenic river views and modern amenities. Holiday Cottages
Our three beautifully restored cottages offer traditional Scottish accommodation with modern comforts. Each property features fully-equipped kitchens, wood-burning stoves, and scenic river views. Guests enjoy private outdoor spaces with BBQ facilities and easy access to walking trails. The cottages sleep 2-4 people, ideal for couples or small families seeking countryside retreats.
Log Cabins
Two purpose-built log cabins provide contemporary holiday accommodation with rustic charm. Features include open-plan living areas, modern bathrooms, and private decking areas overlooking the River Deveron. Pet-friendly policies allow guests to bring dogs, with secure outdoor spaces and direct woodland access for walking. Each cabin sleeps up to four guests.
Fishing Packages
Seasonal fishing packages grant exclusive access to our Deveron River beats renowned for salmon and trout. Guests receive permits for our 161-acre estate's prime fishing spots, including historic pools with trophy catches. Packages include equipment storage and local knowledge about optimal fishing times. No additional licensing required for our controlled waters.
Dog-Friendly Stays
All properties welcome well-behaved dogs with no extra charges. We provide pet-friendly amenities including secure outdoor areas, cleaning supplies, and nearby off-leash walking routes. Our woodland trails and riverbank paths offer varied terrain for different dog sizes and energy levels, with waste disposal facilities maintained.
Wheelchair Accessible Accommodation
Fully adapted cottages at Marnoch Lodge feature wide doorways, roll-in showers, and ground-floor layouts. Safety rails and emergency call systems ensure comfort while maintaining aesthetic appeal. These accessible units retain scenic river views and direct garden access, with parking spaces located adjacent to entrances.

Originally from South Wales, Ally transitioned from banking to hospitality after relocating to Scotland in 2019. She manages guest relations and sustainability initiatives, combining organisational skills from her financial background with hands-on property maintenance experience.
Jason
Co-Owner
Former master blacksmith Jason oversees property development and land management. His technical expertise maintains the cottages' traditional features while implementing modern accessibility upgrades. Together with Ally, he ensures operational continuity across their Aberdeenshire estate.

Lovely break away. Ally and Jason were incredibly helpful and flexible as we had to change our dates. Cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. Our kids had a fab time exploring the area and seeing the chickens! Hope to be back soon.

Our family had the most wonderful and relaxing time here. The cabin is so cozy and inviting and has everything you need for a care free stay. Among the highlights for us was having our morning coffee on the deck while listening to birds and going for picturesque walks along the beautiful River Deveron, which is right down the hill from cabin. We could not have been more satisfied with our stay and will definitely be back again!
