Laparoscopic keyhole spay
This advanced procedure uses small incisions and specialized instruments to perform female dog neutering. Pets experience significantly less pain, quicker recovery, and reduced risk of complications compared to traditional methods. The procedure typically costs from 389.52 including VAT, with most patients returning home the same day.
Orthopaedic Surgery
We treat complex fractures, ligament injuries, and joint conditions using modern equipment including Stryker arthroscopy tools. Common procedures include TPLO for cruciate ligament disease, patella luxation correction, and spinal disc surgery. Our facilities support both routine and advanced orthopaedic interventions for improved mobility outcomes.
Emergency Services
Available during regular hours at our Tamworth branch and through Willows Emergency Service outside these times. We handle critical cases requiring immediate attention, with experienced staff monitoring patients using multi-parameter equipment to ensure safe anaesthesia and recovery processes.
In House Laboratory
Our laboratory facilities enable rapid blood analysis within 30 minutes, crucial for treating critically ill animals. We perform biochemistry, haematology, thyroid testing, and electrolyte assessments using modern equipment, avoiding delays associated with external laboratories for faster treatment decisions.
Digital Radiography
Our 20KW Toshiba X-ray system with digital DR technology provides immediate high-quality images for diagnosing bone, joint, and internal organ conditions. The upgraded equipment supports quicker diagnosis of emergencies like gastric torsion while maintaining image clarity for accurate treatment planning.

We had been struggling to get our dog booked in for a spay at our usual local vets (Ashwood in Sutton Coldfield - terrible) for nearly a year and after being passed from pillar to post due to poor organisation (and then receiving the quote!) we decided to look elsewhere and came across Riversmeet, which we saw had good reviews and reasonable prices. From start to finish the whole process has been smooth and easy and the aftercare has been second to none despite the Christmas opening hours. I would totally recommend them, we will be coming here from now on. Thank you!

Kind and considerate, appointments are on time and staff are helpful. Parking is ok for a limited number of vehicles.

Brilliant vets and great advice. I picked these due to them being toted as small animal expert for my rabbits and now we take the kittens there too. They always have flexible appointments and a car park at the side. My pets never mind a visit to the vets here and are spoilt with affection whilst there.

We use this vets practice and they have always been lovely. The reception staff are friendly and they have gone above and beyond to keep everything open during the lockdowns and mayhem caused by Covid. I would highly recommend them.

Imagine you take your beloved dog here as she fell incredibly ill over a 48 hour period, only to be told that they are unable to provide the necessary care for her, due to staffing issues. That's what happened to us. Absolutely heart-breaking, in the end the only option was to go elsewhere or euthanise. We ultimately made the difficult decision of euthanasia. However it doesn't end there, we also used them for the cremation and the returning of ashes - at great expense. But even this was not done correctly, they had ordered an entirely different container to what we asked for. This caused them

We have been using this vets for 15 years, just for the booster shots nothing serous before! Wow if your pets ill (Go Somewhere Else Now) be prepared as they are going to do nothing other than sell you weeks of tablets, they charged us over 600. for tablets for over a month and our dog did not get any better just worse, We then went to a different vets for a second opinion, who that day preformed and emergency operation on our dog, even though we were not registered with them, they said he will be dead in the next few days and they said it should be reported, I showed them the tablets we had
