Lynne and Jim were very welcoming and had thought of everything. The location is great, just off the main street and very close to the harbour. Good advice on where to eat and things to see. Good breakfast too!

Jim and Lynn are superb hosts. Our stay was wonderful. Try Jim's Porridge with a wee dram, for breakfast. Lynn knowledge of Shetland is extensive.

We stayed at the Fort Chatlotte Guest House by the end of May 2021. The owners of the guest house, Jim and Lynn, are the best multi-tasking hosts, chefs and travel advisors! The guest house is located in a strategic location and a walking distance to many wonderful restaurants. The rooms are well kept, bathroom cleaned everyday and the shower is very strong. Refresh your body and mind after a long day touring the islands. We definitely will come and stay again at the Fort Charlotte Guest House! After checked out, our daughter just realised that she left her phone charger in her room. We had

Lynne and Jim provide a clean and well appointed space along with a welcoming and warm atmosphere that is difficult to beat. I almost hate to say this, but the price for their establishment is definitely undervalued. You get so much for your stay here. A well appointed clean and safe space in the center of town. Delicious home-cooked breakfast every morning. Advice and recommendations from knowledgeable local experts. And most of all, incredibly friendly and thoughtful service. I dont think Ive seen hosts who are more concerned with their guests satisfaction. Highly recommend!!
