The room was lovely but the food was hugely disappointing. The Brasserie menu was extremely limited and we did not go to St Enodoc (formally a gastro hotel) to eat lamb burgers, falafel and baba Ganoush. The first night we had to send the pate back for being too salty.

We went to stay for a much needed weekend away. We had a lovely room overlooking the estuary, which had everything in it that we needed, including some lovely coffee and tea selections. The receptionist Tracy was great and able to answer all questions. We ate in the brasserie on the first night, the service and food was perfect. A great selection of food and drinks. The second night we ate in Karrek opting for the 10 course taster with wine flight, the food and wines to match were absolutely superb. We've eaten in a few Michelin star establishments and would consider the cooking, quality and vision

Fantastic food and staff.Went for lunch and a few drinks and sat outside on the terrace with a fantastic view across the estuary. Also very dog friendly.

Went for lunch and was rather disappointed at first to find they were only doing a bar-b-q menu not the restaurant menu we'd looked at online. However, Marco looked after us and the food and drinks were fabulous, we all had a fabulous day.

Despite all the challenges of the last 16 months, The St Enodoc is up and running at full speed. It is a fabulous destination and their team are excellent, without exception. Expect a warm and professional welcome, which will continue throughout your stay. The food is delicious and the rooms are beautiful, cosy and inviting. My only criticism is that the down lights in the higher tier of restaurant are overpowering, but this is an easy thing to correct. Having visited this lovely independent hotel for 25 years, I would say it is not just top of its game, it is better than ever. But please don't
