My partner and I stayed at Cliftons during a recent visit to Truro. We were warmly greeted by Peter on arrival and were shown to our lovely Room. The Room was comfortable and very clean, with a good bed and a decent toilet. The Guesthouse is nicely furnished and has great character to it. Peter and Norbert were very friendly and helpful, always asking how our stay was and suggesting places to visit locally. The Breakfasts on both days of our stay were excellent. We have stayed at many places in Cornwall and the Breakfasts we had at Cliftons were definitely some of the best that we have ever had

Such lovely hosts! Really nice rooms, breakfast was very very good! Always asking about our day and showing interest also gave us lots of tips on places to visit. Would highly recommend. Good location to explore Cornwall.

I love Truro. An elegant, Georgian contained little City centrally located in the beautiful, dramatic county of Cornwall. I am so happy I found Cliftons as a place to stay here. It is a grand Victorian house which operates as a perfect guesthouse. The spaces are stylish and elegantly furnished and everywhere is spotlessly clean. I booked a single and a double room for our stay and am delighted with both. They each have en-suite facilities and are both comfortable and well furnished. Peter and Norbert are welcoming and friendly hosts and their breakfast service is very good indeed. All is well
