
We are a large primary school situated in the north of the historic town of Darlington. We provide a stimulating and exciting educational experience for 630 pupils aged between 4 and 11 years old. Governors work closely with headteachers, school staff and representatives from the local authority (LA). Safeguarding

We are all responsible for ensuring that each child remains safe, however the Designated Lead for Safeguarding is Kay Murray, supported by deputy designated leads Shirley Welsh, Carol Hall, Debbie O'Callaghan, Julia Murphy and Michelle Charlton. We follow strict procedures to ensure that everyone who works with our children is vetted, keeping our children as safe as possible.
