AMG Surveyors was formed to provide a locally based surveying practice to cover all forms of private residential survey work. Company Director, Antony Goodman, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors MRICS), RICS Regulated Valuer, Non Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) and has around 20 years experience in residential and commercial surveys.
The Company is also regulated by the RICS. Commercial Energy Performance Certificates are a recent legal requirement for non-residential property owners and landlords. Antony was one of the first in the country to become accredited with the RICS to undertake Level 3 & 4 Commercial EPCs.

Failure to produce an EPC before exchange of contracts could result in a fine of 12.5% of the rateable value of the building up to a maximum of 5,000. EPC's are a useful tool to owners and prospective occupiers as they reveal the efficiency in relation to similar buildings and identify areas where the running costs can be improved.
