Services
Tree Felling
Our complete tree felling service handles trees of all sizes using specialist equipment and safety protocols. We assess each tree's unique circumstances to determine the safest removal method, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding property. All waste materials are responsibly recycled or repurposed, with options to leave wood on site if requested.
Stump Grinding
We offer comprehensive stump grinding services using specialist machinery that accesses tight spaces. Our equipment removes stumps to 8 inches below ground level, preventing future fungal growth and root issues. The service includes complete site clearance and responsible disposal of all wood waste materials.
Tree Dismantling
For complex tree removals near buildings or fragile structures, our methodical dismantling process ensures complete safety. We use rigging techniques to remove trees piece by piece, minimising risk while maintaining strict site control throughout the operation.
Emergency Tree Surgery
Our emergency response team handles urgent tree issues caused by severe weather. We specialise in rapid dismantling of damaged trees, clearing fallen branches, and implementing safety measures to protect property and prevent further damage during adverse conditions.
Crown Reduction
We provide expert crown reduction services to maintain tree health and structural integrity. This precision pruning technique controls tree size while preserving natural growth patterns, improving light penetration and reducing wind resistance through careful branch selection.

We've worked with Richardson Tree Surgery on a professional basis for over a year now, assisting them with their website. It's been clear at every stage that they truly care about trees and their tree care service. Ed and Suzie are kind and trustworthy, and should be top of the list for anyone in Cambridgeshire who's looking for a tree care specialist!

Excellent service all round. Edward did a very skilful job of reshaping my much-loved but overgrown Olive tree. Prompt, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Suzie in the office was very helpful and efficient too. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending their services to others.

Very happy with work done. All done on time and to a very high standard. They left every thing clean and tidy so much so you would not think we had any work done. Not sure of the lads names that done the work but they where very friendly and a credit to the company. Would use again and highly recommended to any one that wants any tree work done.

The company has done a lot of work over the years on our trees and hedges. Every member of the organisation is always professional, friendly and efficient and each new job progresses smoothly from the initial visit through to the work being completed. We never hesitate in approaching them whenever we want or need work on any of our trees.
