Portadown Golf Club was first established on 1900, becoming affiliated to the Golfing Union of Ireland in 1905. The first records of the Ladies Branch date to 1910, when they played their competitions on a Wednesday and Saturday.
The Club was originally located on land now occupied by Craigavon Area Hospital and via Drumcree in 1907, Seagoe in 1914, The Mahon (where the Olde Golf Links housing development in on the Tandragee Road) in 1921 and finally settled on land in Carrickblacker in 1934.

As a Level 3 Coach, Paul can enhance your game no matter what level of ability. Paul turned professional in 1983 as Ulster Boys Champion and has had 13 wins during his playing career in the PGA Irish Region.

The Riverside Restaurant is run by a man who is passionate about food. Coming from the fishing village of Portaferry in Co. Down, Chef Stephen Anderson's love of freshly caught fish from Strangford Lough, shows through in the dishes he produces for his customers. With his knowledge of food, Stephen likes to surprise his customers with dishes from all parts of the world, particularly France, Spain, Thailand, Italy and Korea.
