Established since 2002, Croissant d'Or, was opened by Alpha Kb, a Frenchman, who came to England in 2000 and began working with a friend who had a bakery in London, . He quickly realised there was a demand in the UK for French breads and croissants, so he returned to Lyon to learn the art of baking.
