Hardmans have helped me and my family with the funeral arrangements for my father 5 years ago and my mother recently . We used them because they were very professional and respectful and helped us make decisions at a difficult time . I found the time spent with them they showed us up most respect . Could not recommend Melanie enough. I never thought I'd ever have to plan my brother's funeral, but without Melanie and her team I don't even want to know how much more difficult it would have been. Prior to even sorting funeral arrangements out, Melanie gave incredible help with advice and support in helping me get my brother's body returned home from Andorra after he had passed away in a cycling accident over there. Even answering my texts for advice while she was on holiday in London over a weekend! Also a great help with funeral organisation and preparations, with just a picture of my brother

The hurst arrived with the body of my mother but instead of attending to the bereaved family the staff laughed and talked with a neighbour (one my mother did not even like). On the journey to the crematorium you would have thought the driver was taking us on a day trip, he was laughing and talking,. I had to remind him it was a funeral in order to shut him up. I was shocked and dismayed by the complete lack of respect shown by this firm to both my mother and the occasion. I was also not impressed by the Minister they appointed, she wittered on about my mothers school life and work history but
