This will naturally follow the criteria of the religion / faith. For example if your loved one was a devout practising Roman Catholic you may wish his/her body to rest over night in the Catholic Church in front of the tabernacle, with the Requiem Mass following the next day. After this your loved one will be transported to a local burial site or to a crematorium.

Chapel of Rests / viewing rooms are available at both our Henlow and Houghton Regis funeral homes. Spending time with your loved one is something a great deal of people request prior to the funeral. We are happy to make our Chapels of Rest / viewing rooms available to you by appointment between the hours of 9am and 5pm on weekdays.
Repatriation

If your loved one has died in Bedfordshire or North Hertfordshire and you want to repatriate them to their country of origin or citizenship, we can help. Our repatriation service takes care of it all. Simply tell us which country you want your loved one repatriated to and we will make it happen. Collecting the deceased from their current location (home or hospital) and taking them into our care.
