Fenton Vets has been providing veterinary care in Pembrokeshire since 1950. The Practice (formerly known as Peters and Partners) was established to provide veterinary services to the county's many varied farm animals. Over the years, the practice has grown and developed into a thriving centre for both farm animals and household pets. It is now one of the largest practices in Wales.
Services
Services
Report
Most routine surgery and dental procedures are done on a "day patient" basis, so your pet should be able to go home the same day. Protect your pet with insurance - whilst advances in veterinary medicine mean we can do more for your pet, treatment costs can soon mount up. Those of us who have loved and lost a pet will understand that they are not 'just a dog or cat' and that we will grieve their passing just like any other loss.
Repeat Prescriptions
Report
Legally, we can only prescribe or dispense prescription only medicines to animals 'under our care'. Please remember your pet will usually need to have been seen in the last six months by one of our vets in order for us to comply with our pharmacy policy. If you have any queries or an emergency please telephone our reception team who will be happy to help you.
Haverfordwest Practice
Report
We aim to provide a friendly, caring service of the highest quality from a dedicated team committed to the welfare of your animals. In an emergency please telephone 01437 762806. Your call will be handled in an emergency call handling centre. You will need to give your name and number and the duty vet will call you as soon as possible.
Pembroke Practice
Report
The practice has been renovated to the highest standard, with two clinic rooms, an operating room, and a treatment room. Our vets and nurses divide their time between the two practices, meaning your pet can now be seen by your chosen clinician in whichever practice is convenient for you. Please contact the Pembroke Dock branch directly on 01646 622010 for further details on vet and nurse schedules and availability.
Veterinary Nurses
Report
Vet Nurses are an essential part of any modern small animal vet practice. Their roles include caring for hospitalised patients, monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with operation, carrying our x-ray and laboratory procedures, outpatient appointments, nurse clinics - the list goes on! Put simply a crucial part of the team.
