As an American who had the joy of living in the surrounding area for a few months, I can say without a doubt this is my absolute favorite place to dine and drink. Food is phenomenal, (I recommend the steak) the atmosphere and patronage was a joy and it to this day serves the best pint of Guinness I have ever consumed on this planet. Although it may be thousands of miles away for me now, I still miss it dearly and would visit any time Im over. Cant recommend this place enough.

Great food everytime we go. Staff are brilliant, very attentive and great with kids. Definitely worth checking out if visiting Newcastle or Castlewellan!

Had a turkey and ham Sunday dinner from here and it was amazing. Everything well cooked and tasty. Also had a pavalova for dessert which was also top of the notch. Really recommended.
