They originally worked together in London's famous Hatton Garden, and started the workshop above the current premises in 2000 (then Clarkes). Here they would work on pieces for their trade customers around the country. When Clarkes ceased trading in 2010, the opportunity to open their own jewellers arose and Brooklands Jewellers was formed.
