Along with its heritage and beautiful timber interior, the Boars Head has timeless appeal and is believed to be one of the final overnight stops of the famous Pendle witches in 1612, before their eventual trials and sentencing at Lancaster. From the 16th century, the Boars Head has been at the heart of life in the village of Hoghton.
