Services
Tree Felling
Our tree felling service ensures safe and efficient removal of hazardous or unwanted trees. Using specialist techniques, we carefully lower branches and timber to prevent damage to surrounding areas. This service is ideal for trees that have become structurally unsound, diseased, or overgrown. Our certified arborists assess each tree's condition to determine the safest removal method, prioritising property and public safety while maintaining environmental responsibility.
Stump Grinding
Stump grinding eliminates remaining tree stumps after felling, using advanced machinery to grind stumps below ground level. This service is essential for clients planning to re-turf, build, or replant in cleared areas. Our team tailors solutions to site-specific requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to landscapes. We also offer herbicide treatment as a cost-effective alternative to complete stump removal, providing clients with flexible options based on their project needs.
Crown Reduction
Crown reduction services reshape tree canopies by selectively removing branch ends while maintaining natural form. This technique addresses overgrowth issues, reduces weight on heavy limbs, and enhances structural integrity. Our arborists apply industry best practices to achieve balanced pruning that promotes tree health and longevity. The service is particularly beneficial for trees encroaching on buildings or utility lines, offering a sustainable alternative to complete removal.
Arboricultural Consultancy
Our consultancy provides expert tree assessments including BS5837:2012 surveys for development projects, home buyer reports, and risk evaluations. These services help clients navigate planning requirements and ensure compliance with tree preservation legislation. Our certified consultants deliver detailed reports with actionable recommendations, supporting informed decision-making for property transactions and development projects. This service combines technical expertise with practical solutions for both residential and commercial clients.
Hedge Maintenance
We offer comprehensive hedge care services from initial pruning to complete removal of overgrown specimens. Our team provides expert advice on species selection and maintenance schedules tailored to local conditions. Regular maintenance ensures hedges maintain aesthetic appeal while promoting healthy growth. For mature hedges, we employ specialist techniques to restore shape and density without compromising plant health, delivering long-term value for residential and commercial properties.

Highly recommend Acme.
They’ve taken down six trees, arrived when they said they would, working around the local school times. They left the area clean and tidy sweeping up all the leaves. Will definitely use them again.

Highly recommend ACME ARB
They came out to quote for work to be completed at 2 different sites. The quotes were very competitive compared to others we received. The work completed was done to a very high standard & both sites were left spotless. We had large hedges, bushes & a very large Ivy cut back & problem trees poisoned. The men that came out also offered advice about other trees & plants that i had asked about. They were also very friendly & polite.

Very friendly and professional, would highly recommend ACEM ARB. They took down a mature Ash tree (Ash die-back, very sad) that was at the bottom of our garden but the best access was from via our elderly neighbours property, could not have been happier about how the team conducted themselves and made sure everything was left neat and tidy.

Did a great job taking down a large tree. I didn't have to wait for more than a few days, they arrived when they said they would, worked quickly, tidied up and cleared all the debris. All in all excellent service and very good value for money. Highly recommended.
