Osteopathy can treat a wide range of complaints and is suitable for all the family, babies, children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. It is a hands on approach to healthcare which looks at the person as an individual in order to identify where the problem stems from, how to decrease symptoms effectively and bring the body back into balance.

I specialise in paediatric osteopathy - that is, osteopathy for babies and children. I work with patients with specific needs such as those with disabilities, learning difficulties, and have worked in NHS premature baby units and on paediatric wards. Cranial osteopathy is my main treatment of choice as I find it both gentle and effective - I specialise treating children, pregnant and post partum mums for whom cranial osteopathy works well.

About Me
Report
I initially trained as an actress which gave me an understanding of posture, movement and the benefits of physical fitness. An episode of severe back pain led me to seek osteopathic treatment which was so beneficial that it inspired me to change career and train as an osteopath. After graduating from The British School of Osteopathy in 1999, I went to work with Stuart Korth in Tunbridge Wells.
Osteopathy
Report
Osteopathy has commonly been known as a manual therapy for back pain. Actually osteopathy can successfully help many functional problems of the body effecting the musculoskeletal system and internal organs. It is a recognised form of complementary healthcare. Osteopaths use an holistic approach to how they view the body.
Who We Help
Report
Osteopathy can help a wide range of conditions, including low back pain, neck pain, joint pain, limb pain, headache, neuralgia, digestive problems, circulatory problems, anxiety and stress related problems and much more. The treatment is very effective for all ages and for people from all sorts of different occupations, from manual workers, to office workers, to dancers, musicians, singers, parents and sports people.
Treatment
Report
The osteopathic assessment looks at you as an individual in order to understand why the problem has developed. The treatment itself is gentle, as I have found these types of techniques to be very effective. The first appointment will take about an hour. I will take a case history of the complaint and a general medical history.
