This was the second time me and my partner have stayed at the gate lodge and just like the first time it was excellent, Stephen and Archie always makes us feel welcome and the extra touches they did for my partner as she is vegan was exceptional, room was excellent and the food again excellent, will be coming back year after year, totally recommend.

Lovely room where the attention to details is fabulous - the shower height is tall enough for my 65 husband, there is a shaver point, cotton wool balls, pads and cotton buds, mirror with the perfect lighting to apply make up, a ceiling fan for hotter nights such as when we were there! Breakfast selection is really good, Steven & Archie are really friendly, and they are really open about the parking situation and suggest solutions instead of shying away from it.
