Tree Removal
Report
Trees may need to be felled at some point in their lives for a variety of reasons. They may be situated in a confined space surrounded by property, adjacent to a busy road or on a building development site. In order to avoid damage to property we are often required to fell a tree in small sections.
Tree Pruning
Report
This is a reduction in the length of the branches throughout the crown, reducing the trees height and spread. This can be undertaken to increase the ingress of light beneath the tree. To contain the size of the tree or to bring the crown back from adjacent buildings. This is a reduction in the density of the foliage and in most cases will not affect the branch extension or the profile of the crown.
Tree Planting
Report
Trees fulfil a variety of roles within our gardens and the general landscape and you may wish to add to this by planting some of your own. Indeed; in some instances you may have a statutory duty to replant when a protected tree reaches the end of its life and is removed. We can lead you through the process from selecting an appropriate species to introducing mycorrhizal fungi to the newly planted trees roots.
Stump Grinding
Report
Once the tree in question has been removed to ground level it may be necessary to remove it or prevent regrowth. With some ground preparation a new tree can be planted in the exact same spot as the removed tree. Often the site is reseeded for lawn or built over. Often we are only required to remove a tree to ground level and the stump can be left in situ.
