Your Trusted Childcare Partner in Glasgow
At Cosmic Coppers, we are dedicated to providing exceptional childcare that prioritises learning through play, fostering a nurturing environment where children thrive. Established in 2005, our journey began with a parent's vision to create a nursery reflecting their aspirations for their child, evolving into a family-run business with two locations in Glasgow. Our Cardonald site, housed in a renovated police station, and our Merrylee nursery, featuring innovative play spaces, offer children stimulating environments to grow and explore. We believe in the power of creativity and child-led play, encouraging our team to engage actively with children while pursuing continuous professional development.

Parental involvement is central to our ethos, with regular feedback channels, collaborative activities, and open evenings designed to strengthen the partnership between families and our nurseries. Our team, selected for their passion for childcare and commitment to excellence, holds or pursues relevant qualifications, ensuring high standards of care. We take pride in creating a family-oriented atmosphere where every child's unique needs are met, supported by a dedicated staff who view their role as both a privilege and a responsibility. Through this approach, we aim to deliver not just childcare but a holistic foundation for lifelong learning.

Nursery Care
Our nursery care provides a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 3-5, focusing on holistic development through structured play and creative activities. Qualified staff deliver individualised attention while fostering social skills and early learning. The service operates across two purpose-renovated Glasgow locations with flexible session options.
Play-Based Learning
This approach prioritises learning through play, allowing children to explore interests at their own pace. Activities are designed to develop cognitive, physical, and emotional skills while maintaining engagement. Staff facilitate rather than direct, encouraging creativity and problem-solving in purpose-built play spaces.
Parent Workshops
Regular workshops and open evenings enable parents to participate in nursery activities and understand child development approaches. Sessions include sing-alongs, activity demonstrations, and 1-2-1 progress discussions with key workers. This collaborative approach strengthens home-nursery partnerships.

My daughter attended this nursery from 18 months right up until she started school this year. She absolutely loved it, the environment is fantastic, staff are really caring and attentive. I looked at other nurseries before choosing this one and they didnt even compare. Highly recommend.
