From start to finish our course offers challenges, chances and risks for golfers of all abilities. At 6005 yards in total the course is not too demanding for the more sage golfers or the shorter hitters. It rewards both cautious and adventurous ball strikers alike, but at Barnsley golf course getting to the greens is one thing, but how well you putt can define your round.

Upon completion of your round of golf, whether it's to celebrate or commiserate our friendly bar offers you a place to relax and enjoy a drink or a meal in comfortable modern surroundings. Whether you choose a sandwich or a full meal the food is always top quality, freshly prepared, and our chips are home-made!

It holds a maximum of 120 people but its unique layout means that it doesn't feel empty with 40 people & doesn't feel overcrowded when it's filled to capacity. So no matter what the event (Weddings, Engagements, Birthday Parties, Prom's & even sadly for Funeral teas), our Clubhouse Manager and excellent catering team can fulfil all your needs.

Our excellent catering staff provide a wide range of top quality food ranging from sandwiches to full meals. Our restaurant is open on Friday from 11.00am to 4.00pm, Saturdays from 8.00am until 5.00pm & Sunday's from 8.00am until 3.00pm. Our superb Sunday Carvery is available 12.00pm until 3.00pm for only 6.00 per person.
Ladies

Barnsley Golf Club Ladies is only small in numbers compared to some of the larger private clubs but what we lack in numbers, we more than make up for in enthusiasm. As well as having the Lady Captain and Lady Vice Captain serving on the committee, we also have a lady who is the entertainments officer and also a lady member has taken up one of the three spaces on the committee that were up for grabs at the AGM this year.
