We got married in May 2021. I absolutely hate having my photo taken, but I wanted to have one photo from the wedding I could look back on. So we hired Kate as her portfolio looked really good and she also had a positive tone to her website. And she liked cats, so she had to be nice right?
Kate kept in touch with us right up to the wedding day! She was informative and answered all of my questions.
From talking to her, I knew we had made the right decision booking. She is a lovely person who you would happily have as wedding guest, never mind photographer! If anyone could get me that one magic photo

To say 2020 was a turbulent year is the biggest understatement of understatements but it's during the most challenging times that you see can really see someone's worth and Kate is worth her weight in gold and then some. Like many engaged couples we initially planned to get married in April 2020 and like many, we faced difficulties and uncertainties when that was unable to happen and Kate was just a bright shining light throughout. TL;DR: Wonderful person, knows her trade, very professional, will go the extra mile (or 10) to help and support, amazing results! From the moment we met Kate, we knew we wanted her for our wedding photographer. Her personality is so bubbly and fun and exactly what we wanted. Her style is to avoid lots of posed photos (there will always be some) and go for photos that capture our day and capture our personalities. From the start, she guided us and helped us understand what is needed and what works best and brought her experience to us so we could make the best decision. This was wonderful because

Kate was incredible during our family shoot, it felt so natural and relaxed. Kate is a hit with small children too. She captured moments I would never have thought of, from the battle of getting shoes on a toddler to kissing his hand better when he fell; most importantly a beautiful day out I will never forget. From the very first contact we had we knew she was the person we wanted to photograph our wedding. Kate was so relaxed and lovely, we feel like she really got to know us and we loved chatting to her and hearing updates on her cats!
COVID tried its best to ruin our wedding plans but with Kates enthusiasm and flexibility (three different wedding dates later) we were able to get married in between lockdowns. Kate was amazing at keeping us in the loop about the restrictions and so so good at reassuring us that the day would be perfect
