Based in Cumbria, we offer vintage coach & bus hire for weddings & events throughout the Lake District, and the UK. Cumbria Classic Coaches Ltd is a small friendly family run business specialising in running classic vintage half-cab buses and coaches. We have a fleet of five single deckers, two double deck buses and a vintage car.
We operate three timetabled service routes, ALL YEAR from Kirkby Stephen to Barnard Castle and Brough to Kendal and seasonally from Kirkby Stephen to Hawes. Loved by tourists and locals alike, these are a great day out.

We started Cumbria Classic Coaches mid summer 1998, with a 1934 Leyland Lion. However, the first coach we bought was a 1949 Commer Commando with a Scottish Aviation body, this coach is being restored at the moment. We have since acquired a considerable fleet (in vintage terms)!
When we started with the Leyland Lion we soon realised we would need a back up vehicle so we bought our first Leyland Tiger CWG 286, this came from the opposite end of the country from the Lion which came from Aberdeen, we had to traipse practically to Lands End for the Tiger.

We quote for all work on an individual basis to reflect the number and vehicles chosen, the itinerary for the event, distance from Ravenstonedale and time of year.
