David May Motor Services Ivybridge was formed in 1979 by David and Shelagh May. Based at Park Street, Ivybridge, the garage began by carrying out vehicle body and mechanical repairs and, from the outset, the principle of the company was to offer affordable service with customer care the priority. A principle still carried on to this day.

In 1992 it was decided to move to a purpose built site on Ermington Road, Ivybridge, in order to have all operations under one roof, including a display area for up to 20 selected used cars. David May Motor Services is now recommended body repairers for numerous insurance companies as well as a Dupont five star dealership.

Your yearly MOT couldn't be easier. Simply give us a ring and book your car in from Monday to Saturday lunchtime. You can bring your car to the garage and wait in the showroom with a coffee and the day's newspaper or arrange for one of our drivers to pick your car up from your home or place of work.

At David May Motor Services we take away the trauma of the accident repair process with a friendly and professional service designed to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. As part of our commitment to the customer we gained the BS10125 certificate in body repairs and we are also capable of repairing Electric and PHEV vehicles.
