ABOUT US Dove Bank Primary School is a small rural community school for pupils aged four to eleven years old. Situated in the picturesque village of Nailstone, the school also serves the nearby catchment areas of Bagworth and Battram. The school is a well-maintained, modern building built in 1982 and extended further in 2004.

From the moment I stepped foot into the school, I was greeted by welcoming, hardworking and friendly children, as well as a staff team who work exceptionally hard and care a great deal for the children's needs.

Admissions

General Admissions As a maintained school - that is, one that is still part of the Local Authority - we follow the LA admissions policy. We currently have an admission number of 30 pupils in Reception and Key Stage 1, and 20 pupils in Years 3 to 6. An open evening for parents of all children due to start reception in September is held prior to the beginning of the autumn term, usually in June.
