Situated on a quiet bridleway they are ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riders or even if you just want to relax away from it all.

We moved here from a village near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire having previously run our own pet care business for about 7 years. We didn't move alone either as we also arrived with Michele's mother Pat and her partner Edwin, our dogs and horses (we currently have two dogs and two horses). We have extensively re-decorated and re-equipped our 3 cottages, Snowdrop, Mountain Ash & Rowan.

Mountain Ash Cottage is one of our two bedroom two storey dog-friendly cottages, converted from a cow barn in about 2000 and is rated as 3 stars by Visit England. The neighbouring cottage Rowan is a mirror image of Mountain Ash. Rowan Cottage is one of our two bedroom two storey stone built dog-friendly cottages, converted from a cow barn in about 2000 and is rated as 3 stars by Visit England.

Exmoor is an International Dark Sky Reserve (the first in Europe). On clear nights from Court Farm you can see thousands of stars with the naked eye compared with just a couple of hundred in built up areas because of light pollution. You can easily see planets, constellations and even the International Space Station when.

At Court Farm, we know that bringing your animals with you on holiday can really add to the enjoyment. All of our cottages are designed to be dog-friendly and we also have stabling and grazing for up to 3 horses. Court Farm offers a great base for horse riders who want to bring their own horses on holiday with them.

Fantastic place to go with dogs, plenty of walks in the area, and location is far enough away but not remote. Bring your hiking boots and waterproofs as there are lots of great if challenging walks to do in the local area. Our stay was perfect and we even extended by another 2 day's! Nothing was too much trouble for David and his wife and they made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
