Your hosts, Michele and David Binks, have owned Court Farm Holiday Cottages since October 2011. We relocated from Buckinghamshire after operating a pet care business for seven years, bringing our dogs, horses, and family members to this historic Exmoor property. Over the years, we have meticulously renovated our three cottagesSnowdrop, Mountain Ash, and Rowanto achieve 3-Star ratings from Visit England and TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence. Our dog-friendly cottages feature secure gardens and direct access to Exmoors walking trails, while our stabling and grazing facilities cater to equestrian guests.The farms main house dates back to the 1600s, with intriguing historical elements like a 1679 plaster carving. We pride ourselves on offering a welcoming, flexible experience, whether youre seeking a short break or extended stay. Our location near Exford village provides easy access to shops, pubs, and Exmoor National Parks natural beauty, including the Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve. We actively support stargazing and local events like the Exmoor Dark Sky Festival. Self-Catering Cottages
Our three cottagesSnowdrop, Mountain Ash, and Rowanoffer fully equipped self-catering accommodation in Exmoor. Each cottage sleeps 24 guests, with secure gardens and modern amenities. Converted from historic farm buildings, they combine rustic charm with contemporary comforts like Wi-Fi and fully fitted kitchens.
Dog-Friendly Stays
All cottages welcome dogs, with enclosed gardens and easy access to Exmoors pet-friendly trails. We provide a dog-sitting service and allow up to four dogs per cottage. Guests praise the property as 'dog heaven' with no lingering pet odours despite strict cleaning protocols.
Horse Stabling
We offer stabling for two horses and grazing for up to four by arrangement. Direct access to Exmoors bridleways lets riders explore Room Hill, Winsford Hill, and Withypool. Owners frequently escort guests on guided rides, showcasing local trails and points of interest.
Stargazing
As an Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve partner, we provide optimal conditions for viewing the Milky Way and constellations. The areas minimal light pollution allows guests to see thousands of stars. We promote the annual Exmoor Dark Sky Festival and offer resources for amateur astronomers.
Flexible Bookings
We accept bookings from three nights in low season and one week in peak periods. Guests can adjust arrival days and stay lengths with prior arrangement. Online booking is available, or contact us directly for special requests like extended stays or horse accommodation.

Can I bring more than one dog?
Yes—up to four dogs in Mountain Ash and Rowan, two in Snowdrop. Secure gardens and Exmoor trails make it ideal for pets.

Well appointed cottages in a lovely location - we've just returned from our Christmas break at Court Farm and very much enjoyed our holiday. Dave and Michelle are perfect hosts - very friendly and helpful as usual. We've stayed with them many times before and will return. Highly recommended

We actually visited the Old Stables Cottage (Sykes) which was really beautiful and cosy. Lovely layout and decor, depicting the wildlife of E Moor in every room. The kitchen has a fabulous map of the area to help you plan your day. We were lucky enough to see several red deer and local pubs were excellent, plus don't miss the Exford tea rooms for breakfast.

Fantastic place to stay. The place was very clean and right by the river. Easy walk to the village, with a couple a pubs. I also like the location where you can basically step out of your door and you are on the moor. We often struggle to find a place to stay with dogs, so this was perfect.

This was perfect, just what I wanted. Peace and quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The accommodation was fresh and clean and had all the facilities I needed. Definitely a place to revisit.
