I grew up in Marlow in the UK where I spent many years predominantly skulling & rowing in quads, trained by an Olympic gold medalist. From a very young age I have always been interested in photography, partly inspired by the fact that my grandfather Graham Thompson was a Royal photographer for the British Royal Family, & my late father, Maurice Thompson was a Film Director.

Everyone has a story to tell and one of the best things about my job is meeting new people. I find it fascinating. You develop a relationship and a bond with clients during a shoot, that it becomes a bit of an anticlimax when it comes to an end. It's like having a fantastic time at a party and then you have to leave.
