We were given the name of the Beeches by old friends staying nearby. It was a good suggestion as the Beeches has ample parking, and a very varied breakfast, available from as early as you like - if you prefer the real thing in tea and coffee to the tray in your room. The key element in the BnB is its proprietor, John Sandison, a charmingly helpful person.
