Situated on the A340 just outside Basingstoke in Pamber End, The Queen's College arms simply oozes traditional character and charm. Originally leased by Hall & Woodhouse from Queen's College Oxford in 1965, the pub is now a thriving pub restaurant serving the local communities in and around Basingstoke and Reading.
Indeed Tim Berners-Lee, former Queen's College student and inventor of the World Wide Web, says his favourite pint is our very own Tangle Foot. The pub boasts an impressive, traditional, wood panelled dining room offering table service, together with more informal dining areas and a comfy bar, for those guests with less time on their hands.

Our Food
Report
We've been working hard over the past few months to make sure all of our delicious food dishes are just that little bit better. As well as our usual favourites like Steak & Tangle Foot Pie, Hand-Battered Fish & Chips and our famous H&W Burger, we've also got a range of tasty sandwiches and of course our delicious Sunday Roasts, which we think are the best (apart from Mum's!).
Our Drinks
Report
We've sorted an amazing range of drinks for you to enjoy either with a meal or simply on their own. Our very own range of Badger Beers are only sold in Hall & Woodhouse pubs, so we can guarantee the very best quality cask and bottled ales brewed right in the heart of the Dorset countryside.
Alongside our beers we also have a comprehensive selection of lagers and ciders, together with an extensive wine list, with wines from all around the World and an ever increasing range of spirits, particularly local and regional gins.

Community
Report
One of the key attributes of the perfect English Country pub is that it is at the heart of its local community. That's why we believe it's so important to give something back and detailed below are just a couple of things we are doing locally to help out in some small way. Community is incredibly important to us and as part of this, we help to fundraise for a local charity.
