Book A Practical Test

When it comes to booking your practical driving test, you'll need a few things ready beforehand. First off, you'll need to have passed your theory test already, as you won't be able to take your practical driving test otherwise. You don't necessarily need your driving instructor's individual reference number, but we'd recommend getting it to help check their availability, as you'll want them there on test day!
Show and Tell

Candidates taking the practical driving test must show they are able to carry out routine maintenance checks. The 'show and tell' questions require candidates to explain to examiners where and how to check tyres, brakes, fluid levels, lights, direction indicators and horns. One or both questions answered incorrectly will result in one driving fault being recorded.
Pass Plus
Report
Bear in mind too that it will take a minimum of six hours, all of which need to be taken after passing your test. If more sessions are needed for you to successfully complete the course, this may add to the cost. When you have successfully completed the course, you are advised to check available discounts offered by the insurance companies taking part in the scheme.
Become an Instructor

If you are thinking of a new career as a driving instructor, choose a trainer/company who is on the ORDIT REGISTER. This means these establishments have reached standards set out by the DVSA to ensure YOU WILL BE PROVIDED with a professionally run course. All training will be provided by a GRADE A instructor.
