Over the last 25 years we have become experts at listening and guiding families at a very difficult time.
Arranging a Funeral

As an NAFD member we are expected to provide a professional service in line with our Code of Practice. We will advise you each step of the way, discussing with you all the options and ensuring you are clear as to the costs involved. We are there to support you and guide you on what you need to do and how to go about it.
What to do After a Death
Report
After a person has died, you will need to contact their Doctor or the out of hours duty Doctor. If the death was in a nursing home the staff at the home will arrange for this to be done. Once the Doctor has confirmed that death has taken place and given permission for the deceased to be moved, you may ring your chosen Funeral Director.
Funeral Costs

We will explain the various fees and charges involved. Funeral arrangements are a matter of personal wishes and choice therefore the best way to obtain an estimate is by discussion with your Funeral Director. We will not rush you into making any decisions. We will send a fully itemised estimate before the funeral service with details of two items; "Our Charges" and the "Disbursements".
