MECS only available to those who are registered with a GP in the boroughs of Southwark, Lewisham, Lambeth, Bexley and Bromley. Not available to those registered with GP at hand.
We have a locked door policy and entry is by appointment only you so can avoid contact with other patients on the premises. You will be asked to hand sanitise and wear a face mask at all times. We are an independent opticians providing a warm, friendly and professional service. Established in 1996 by Farah Nizam (BSc Hons) and Gus Sidhu (BSc Hons MBCO and FBDO Contact Lenses Certificate), who have between them over forty years of experience in providing first rate eye care. We carry out a comprehensive eye health check, providing prescription glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and child eye care.

Funded by NHS - Eye tests are very important for children to ensure their eyes are developing normally, especially between the ages of 3 to 7. Both vision and eye health need to be monitored as children often do not know, or say, that they have a problem. It is advisable for kids to have their eyes tested from the age of 3 or 4, depending on the child's ability, so they are at their best when school starts.

We are now in Tier 4 but are still open for Urgent care and Essential care including those in need of new glasses or contact lenses. If it is time for your routine eye examination, and you are not having any problems, please try to wait until we are back to Tier 3 if possible. Thank You and stay safe.
