What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and major credit cards. Cheques are no longer accepted. Credit card details may be required for treatments over £30.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice incur 50% fee. Missed appointments without notice charged at 100% of treatment cost.
Do you offer men's treatments?
Yes, we provide waxing, facials, and massages for men. Some treatments require introduction by existing clients or booking through partners.
Are there any special offers available?

The Gentle Touch has been my go-to salon for many years and will remain so as I enter middle-age. Kay offers a warm, friendly welcome and I have always felt relaxed and at ease with her, which is an extremely important factor when dealing with sensitive treatments and partial nudity! :D
Apart from body waxing, I have regular massage treatments and I just melt into the bed (or fall asleep on occasion!) when Kay works her magic. The winning formula of warm hands, appropriate pressure, aromatherapy oils, soft lighting and relaxing music is just divine, and I look forward to every visit and subsequent

Beautiful gel nails by Kay... she took such time and care over them. A week later I still don't have a single chip... can't recommend this beauty salon in Ipswich town centre highly enough!

I love it here. Tranquil, quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of other salons that are just a part of another business venture, The Gentle Touch fulfils all of my needs to be pampered. From relaxing facials to deep tissue massage, Kay and her team look after me from the moment I walk in to the salon. I feel special, relaxed and whole again. I love the relaxing pedicure and foot massage. My toenails look fantastic. My Axxiom nail gel manicures means that my nails are perfect for weeks - something that is really important in my busy business lifestyle.
