The Stag is Aberdeen's newest pub situated at 6 Crown Street just off Union Street, and a short walk from the Music Hall. It was formerly the Star and Garter, the 'Auld Starry' as it was affectionately known in days gone by. Indeed it was once acknowledged to be the posties' pub because of its proximity to the old Crown Street Post Office.
