Course Manager Blog As we step into September I can't help but feel like this year's playing season has flown by - let's hope for a good end to the summer. I am very pleased with how our maintenance week went in early August, with the weather on our side natural. Thank you for your support of this year's Sand Martins Pro-Am and hope that you and your team had an enjoyable day.

Opened in 1993, the course has been cleverly designed with two distinct and contrasting nine holes. Laid out in two loops, each finishing in front of the clubhouse, it offers the golfer the opportunity of a 'quick' nine holes if time is short. The outward nine, set in parkland with lakes, water hazards and dog-leg holes is a perfect example of risk and reward golf, offering a challenge to golfers of all levels.
Practice Facilities

Situated just a short walk from the first tee, Sand Martins' practice facilities are extensive. The private Members' driving range has a premium covered facility enabling you to practice whatever the weather. Housed in the driving range is our Swing and Fitting Studio which features state-of-the-art equipment to assist our PGA Professionals in analysing your game.
The Clubhouse

Open from 7.30 am - 6 pm daily, our clubhouse is the central hub of the course. Our wide-ranging seasonal menu provides a mixture of fresh fine dining in the summer and hearty winter warmers for the colder months. Our stonebaked pizza menu is a popular mainstay, whilst light bites and sandwiches are available at lunchtimes.

Covered bays to practise in when the weather is inclement and access to a state of the art club fitting and coaching studio. Free access to our second club, The Lambourne, Burnham, Buckinghamshire (full adult categories only). A welcoming Clubhouse and Halfway House with an excellent food & beverage service - available seven days a week.
